“So…now what? Can’t you see I’m taking a nap? OK, I’ll get up for a walk. Or supper. OK, maybe for a belly rub – if it’s a good one.”
“So, when is Dad getting home to take me for a walk? He needs to figure out what is really important here.”
“Would you like my autograph? They’re free for a belly rub or a hug.”
“So…let me get this straight. You want me to go with you to the doggie doctor? OK…let me think about that. (Pause) Nope, I’ll pass!”
“Yeah, this feels really comfortable. I just hope that Aggie doesn’t start barking. Then…I might have to actually get up and go check, and I really don’t want to move!”
“Yeah, I’m getting some rays – working on my tan. I’m even doing a little meditatin’…”
“Ah…this is the life! Sitting in Dad’s lap, checking out the sights, on the way to the park for a walk! Life is good…”
“How ’bout those Cowboys?!? (Pause) What does that even mean?”
“Nice of Dad to build this perch for me to plop down on! And…it’s good for scratching my bottom, too!”
